Fcukers return with new single ‘Tommy’ – tune in now.

The NYC group are making waves, blending warped sonics with fetid after-hours club shapes, resulting in something enticing, dark, and additive. Breezing into Brighton for the Great Escape earlier this year, Fcukers left carnage in their wake, and they’re soon to return to the UK as guests of Aussie party-starters Confidence Man.

New EP ‘Baggy$$’ is out on September 6th via Ninja Tune, with the trio – ShannyWise (vocals), Ben Scharf (drums) and Jackson Walker Lewis (bass, keys, production) – excelling in they grasp of debauched thrills.

Take new single ‘Tommy’. Reaching back to proto-techno production, it’s reminiscent of the playful experimentation that breezed through Bleep era studios.

Often placed in parallel to the emerging indie sleaze aesthetic, you can hear callbacks to those early DFA Records 12 inches, but that’s no bad thing – if anything, they share a similar punk-like rejection of the norm.

Backed by some pared back visuals, ‘Tommy’ is a confrontational dancefloor heater – tune in now.
