An evening of exultant celebration, Romy’s relationship with Ibiza goes back a long way. The White Island can have a transformative effect on revellers, with its curious mid-summer magic retaining a grasp on countless souls who have passed through its mosaic of clubs. Jumping at the chance for an emotional return, Romy was granted the keys to iconic Ibizan nightspot Pikes. A rare chance to see The xx singer so close-up, she tapped into the island’s glorious music history for a performance imbued with palpable grace and power, following on from a similar White Claw Refreshing Sounds event at East London nightspot NTs Loft a few weeks before.
150 lucky revellers joined White Claw Refreshing Sounds for this unique, one-of-a-kind experience – and with the rose red Ibiza sun setting in the distance behind the pool at Pikes, it was clear this was something no one present would forget.
