Pakistan’s Opening Duo Smash 25 Runs to Irfan Pathan in an Over

The entire cricket world is experiencing another exciting version of the biggest rivalry of cricket as India and Pakistan are locking horns. Since the beginning of the match, Pakistani batters are on high. Pakistan’s opening duo Kamran Akmal and Sharjeel Khan smashed Irfan Pathan for 25 runs. 

Expensive Over by Irfan Pathan:

In the 10th over of the first innings, Irfan Pathan came to bowl his first over. But that was a forgettable over by the batter. In the first three balls of the over, Kamran Akmal hit Irfan for three consecutive boundaries. In the fourth ball, Akmal hit him for an outstanding over-boundary. After going for a single in the fifth ball, Sharjeel Khan hit Irfan Pathan for another over-boundary. In that one over, the Indian bowlers conceded 25 runs. 

Incredible Start by Pakistan:

India and Pakistan both entered into this match with unbeaten streaks. While batting start, Pakistan gave an amazing start. The opener duo Kamran Akmal and Sharjeel Khan took the innings to another level. Both completed their half-centuries and those were huge boosts. Sharjeel played a knock of 72 runs in 30 overs. Akmal added 77 runs on the board. Their opening partnership was worth 145 runs. 

The Indian bowlers struggled to stop those duo. But in the 11th over, Anureet Singh came to bowl and in the fifth ball of the over, he dismissed Sharjeel Khan. In the 14th over, Kamran Akmal was dismissed by 77 uns. Sohaib Maqsod and Shoaib Malik are on the crease. Maqsood is batting on 37 runs in 19 balls. Malik is batting on 5 runs. In the 16th over, Pakistan is 205-2.
