Teen indie pop all-stars Split Second return with new single ‘Ozymandias’.
The band hail from Worcestershire, and blend youthful innocence – they’re all between 16 and 18 years of age – with astute melodies and a wicked lyrical wit.
Recently sharing full length album ‘Love Life Cycle’, the band’s punchy, peppy sound carries with it a refreshing sensibility. The world is listening, too – Split Second’s song ‘Reach Out’ was used in a mental health awareness campaign across UK schools in collaboration with the NHS.
Hitting the studio once more, Split Second are ready to unleash something new. ‘Ozymandias’ – named after the classic poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley – was produced by Gavin Monaghan at Magic Garden Studio in Wolverhampton.
A punchy return, ‘Ozymandias’ comes with a message that the underdogs will have their day – on this form, few would bet against Split Second achieving just that.
Tune in now.
