Tommy Mallet, former TOWIE star, has hinted at a new documentary that will reveal the “real truth” after what he described as a “rollercoaster ten months”. Earlier this year, Tommy confessed to having ‘sold everything’ following a significant financial setback due to a hefty tax bill incurred from the sale of his multi-million pound footwear brand, Mallet, which he launched in 2015.
The brand reportedly raked in £11.8million in sales in a single year, making Tommy one of TOWIE’s most successful exports. However, the 32 year old, who shares a son, Brodie, with his wife, Georgia Kousoulou, admitted he had ‘nothing left’ in December last year.
Despite this, it seemed as if things were on the up for Tommy, who, despite leaving school without any qualifications, managed to build a brand that is stocked in over 150 stores worldwide. In 2021, he even made it onto Forbes 30 under 30 list of the most influential young entrepreneurs.
The reality TV star launched his successful business, Mallet London, in 2015 and has made millions of pounds in sales through his company. Mallet designed his first pair of shoes when he was just 15 and his designs have turned him into a multimillionaire.
The entrepreneur recently stepped away from his co-founding director position at the company and took a risk by investing in Mallet to boost his stocks after leaving. During this summer, he has channelled his efforts into establishing a new brand, CTRNE, which offers crystal-infused sneakers purported to aid in manifesting wearers’ aspirations.
On Instagram, Tommy revealed: “Family…. On the 31st of October my court order is done…. Follow to see me absolutely blow @ctrne_world and get it all back the right way. Love and light people (repost and let the world know I’m coming).” While details regarding the court order are currently scant, there’s buzz about an upcoming documentary that will delve into the events of the past ten months of his life.
Uploading an Instagram reel on Sunday, September 22, the businessman stated: “We don’t sell stories to the media where we are from… so we decided to swerve our right to reply and film a documentary.. From concept to court rooms… Ego is the enemy, coming soon.”
In the clip he expressed: “I honestly feel like I’ve got a gift I need to share and it’s not something I can just let go past. So I’m telling you, if I have to lose it all to start again and show people I can do it again, just watch me.”
Supporters quickly poured into the comment section to back Tommy Walsh amidst his health news, with remarks such as: “The comeback will be bigger than the setback… can’t wait to see this,” “Pain Into Power”, and one fan cheering: “You’re an inspiration tommy! ! ! Thank you for sharing your journey. Look forward to seeing it.”
