When I went shopping with a friend, a while ago, I was successful for a change and bought this light blue, black and white printed skirt, among other things. Like 4 black tees! Every now and then you have clothes that fit right away when you put them on. Have the perfect fit. Like this skirt. That should actually apply to all clothing, right? But it doesn’t…. At least in my case that is not what happens most of the time, what about you?
Light blue isn’t really my colour
This skirt is made of cotton and viscose, which makes it wonderfully wearable. Sits high in the waist, but nothing too tight, doesn’t wrinkle, perfect length! So nice. It’s a very nice colour combination, yes black and white, I’m starting to love it. And light blue, a kind of denim blue. A colour I never wear. But in combination with the other colours and the print I really like it. And if something isn’t your colour because it doesn’t look good in your face, like light blue is for me, you can always wear it as a bottom piece.
How can you tell if something isn’t the right colour for you? A colour analysis is then a good idea. A professional who knows what to look for and has the necessary tools for it. I mean, we don’t all have such a huge colour range of all kinds of fabrics, right? Nowadays you can do a colour analysis online. I was offered one by Pamela a few years ago and have benefited immensely from it and still use it!
What else should I wear with this light blue skirt?
I bought this T-shirt with flower corsage in the same boutique as the skirt. I love these corsages and have them in different colours. My friend said, when she asked me what I had bought that day, why would you buy 4 black T-shirts? Well, they’re all different girl!…. I mean, one is more grey-ish, one has puff sleeves, another has a print. So here you are, 4 different tees!
And I’m wearing my new cowboy boots here! Oh how cute they are with dresses too! I like the waistband of the skirt, no belt needed. And a super old denim jacket. With a brooche that I bought at a car boot sale in Brenzett last May. I saw a tweed light blue denim jacket at the boutique that I actually want…I’ll wait until the sale…and then it will probably be sold out!
